Parameters

Nickel alloy 718

Nickel 718, or Inconel 718 is a hardening nickel-chromium alloy that contains molybdenum, FE, columbium, and smaller traces of aluminum and titanium. Designed to exhibit significant yields, high strength, good ductility, and creep rupture properties up to 1300°F (704°C). These characteristics provide alloy 718 good formability, weldability, and cryogenic allowances compared to the metals other nickel based superalloys. The sluggish age hardening characteristics in alloy 718 also allow annealing and welding without the occurrence of spontaneous hardening during heating and cooling. This alloy is also non-magnetic, maintains significant corrosion and oxidation resistances

Application :

Gas turbine engine parts

Liquid fuel rocket motor components

Springs, fasteners

Cryogenic tanks

Pumps and valves

Chemical Equipment

Speificaton : ASTM B637, B670, AMS 5596, 5662, 5663, 5832

Nickel Alloy C-276

Hastelloy C-276/Alloy C276, with a high nickel contents, is immune to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. The high molybdenum and chromium contents allow the alloy to perform in oxidising, non-oxidising and mixed acids media, whilst exhibiting outstanding resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion attack. The addition of tungsten inhibits the development of pits. Finally, C276 is suitable for off-shore applications where hydrogen-sulphide(H2S) stress corrosion cracking resistance is essential.

Industries where C276 is utilised are petrochemical and chemical processing, power generation, pharmaceutical, pulp and paper production and waste treatment to name a few.

Application :

Pressure Vessels

Reactors & Condenser

Mixers and Agitators

Scrubbers

Dampers

Heat Exchangers

Venturis

Evaporators

Solvent Recovery Plants

Pumps and Valves

Specification :ASTM B564/B574/B575/B462/B775

Nickel Alloy 625

Alloy 625 /Inconel625 demonstrates an excellent combination of corrosion resistance and high strength. Due to the high nickel content, alloy 625 is immune to chloride-induced stress corrosion cracking. It also has good resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.

Resulting from the alloy’s excellent thermal stability, Alloy 625 is the alloy of choice for weld overlay applications in the oil and gas/petrochemical and refineries markets.

Application:

Aircraft ducting and exhaust systems

Engine thrust-reverser systems

Turbine shroud rings

Fittings and joints

Gaskets and damper seals

Motorsport exhaust system parts

Weld overlay and spacers for heat recovery systems

Furnace muffles

Valve Seats and components

Speificaton :

ASTM B443/ B444,/B446, AMS 5599/5666/5837/5879/5869/5581
